Arts Alive Arts
Alive is a charitable trust whose aim is to bring high quality arts events
to everyone in Shropshire and Herefordshire. Arts
Alive has been running since 1999 and started off as a small pilot with a
handful of venues and 20 films. It now works with over 70 communities
promoting over 100 live performances and showing over 500 films every
year. Each event is selected and hosted by local volunteer promoter, Arts
Alive provides financial support, professional advice and marketing back
up for the whole process. Arts Alive has a commitment to programming high
quality work across all live art forms: theatre, dance, music and
puppetry. Companies toured range from new young companies, regionally
based companies, national touring companies and also international work.
We believe that it is right that small rural communities have access to
inspirational and entertaining professional live performances. Each
year we tour performances especially aimed at early year’s children and
their families, introducing the youngest audiences to the magic of live
performance. Arts
Alive is also committed to diverse cultural programming, bringing the
wider world to our rural communities. A new Arts Alive site is currently under development, and will be up and running really soon. In the meantime, if you need to get in touch with the team, here are our contact details: Blue Barn,
