The Jackfield Comhaltas branch was formed in 1996 out of an existing session dedicated to Irish Music.  Unfortunately due to rising insurance costs within Comhaltas, the branch folded in autumn 2004.

However the Irish session at the Boat Inn is as popular as ever. The Musicians get together at the Boat Inn, Jackfield, Nr Ironbridge, Shropshire, every Thursday evening 8pm onwards.  You don't have to be a member to join in the sessions.  All levels of players are welcome, beginners are encouraged.

Practice session - every Sunday morning at The Birchmeadow Centre, Broseley. 10.00am - 12:30pm. All levels of skill welcome. Cost: £1.50 adults, .50p school age children.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.
